About me

I  have painted and sketched since my teens. After an Art based teacher training at Trent Park college, I taught children for many years, continuing to paint in my spare time. Since retiring from teaching fifteen years ago, I have set up my own studio at home, which is in a delightful setting on the slopes of the Hardown Hill overlooking Lyme Bay.

I have regularly taken part in Dorset Art Weeks and other open studio events with great success. My work has been shown in London at the Bankside Gallery, Rowley Gallery, and in London exhibitions The Affordable Art show and Works on Paper.

I have exhibited in Salisbury including the Playhouse and Hospital, The Octagon Theatre Yeovil, Axminster Arts Cafe, Ilminster Meeting House Gallery, Milton Keynes  and   Abbotsbury.

My paintings are in private collections throughout Britain and also in Denmark, Switzerland,  France, Spain, Germany, Australia and the U.S.A.
